Head of school
In 2017, Jean Bartlett began her 15th year as a teacher. During that time, she has been licensed and taught in three different states and her experience has included public, private, and home school settings.
In 2012, Mrs. Bartlett completed and was awarded a ten-year license by the National Board for the Professional Teacher (NBCT), the highest certification in the United States. In May of 2011, she was named, “Teacher of the Year” at Ashley Hall, where she worked as a fifth and sixth grade social studies teacher for over seven years.
Mrs. Ebeling has been a math teacher and tutor for over ten years. She has worked in the public school system at the high school level and facilitated homeschool math programs. She has been with LTP Scholars since 2017
Ms. Reynolds holds a degree in English from the College of Charleston and will begin her masters program at The Citadel this summer. She is the lead teacher in English and has been with LTP Scholars since 2017.
Mrs. Jenness has been a teacher for over twenty years. She has experience in the Charleston County School District and most recently she worked at Bishop England High School. Mrs. Jenness has been with LTP Scholars since 2017.
Mrs. Hastings has taught science for nearly fifteen years and has experience not only teaching in America, but Europe as well. She has worked as a teacher in Germany, Italy, Washington, and now the Charleston area. Mrs. Hastings has been with LTP Scholars since 2017.
Mrs. Glassberg has taught several different grade levels over the last twenty years of her teaching career. She has worked in the public school setting and most recently was a faculty member of South Carolina Connections. She joined LTP Scholars in 2019.
Mrs. Shurlds retired from full-time teaching after fifty years in 2016. She has taught all levels of high school English and directed some of the areas top plays and musicals over the years. She has been with LTP Scholars since 2017.
