Ltp students attend pearl harbor memorial

December 7, 2018

As President Roosevelt decreed, December 7, 1941 is a day that has lived in infamy. After studying events of World War II, Sutton and Sawyer Severance attended a memorial held to remember Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Yorktown in Charleston Harbor. They were privileged to meet three veterans of WWII who told the boys that they were thrilled that a younger generation realized the significance and came to help commemorate the day. Sutton and Sawyer also had the opportunity to shake hands with and thank many other members of the military who have served or are currently serving our country.
